Gower Tour - May 6-8 A great time was had by all on this excellent little tour. The boys really enjoyed watching the Scarlets v Blues game and getting to parade around the pitch prior to kick off. Obviously it was the best result posible (not for Daf). Saturday the team played two games at Mumbles RFC. In the first game we beat Mumbles 4-1 and they played excellent. In the second game they came up against Gweryfyd, the best team we have played by far and we lost 1-4. In both games the spirit, heart and tackling was out of this world. This was a step up in opposition and the boys stepped up to the mark. On Sunday we played at South Gower RFC and again had two fantastic games of rugby. We went down again to Gwernyfyd 2-4 but their coach praised our boys for providing such stiff opposition. In our last game we drew 3-3 against South Gower in a game we really should have won. Again the boys played good rugby and the defence was great. Well done to all boys and parents for making the weekend a good one. We must do something similar next year.
